Left Goeshen 15 days ago, now in Tucson. Still killing those stinking bugs 2 to 3 a day. We figure we have infected the whole southwest.

Well, it looks as if I didn't do too bad either. We took some to Ohio, West Va, Va, North and South Carolina, Ga and Alabama. Killed 16 in the Rv last Thursday and one in the s&b today. They really are "stinkers".

I'm glad you took those little stinkers with you. Thought you guys might venture through this area on the way home.........glad you kept those little creatures to your self. We fought them in the spring............not fun! Please don't bring them to us at the Gulf this winter>

Well here it is quite a few weeks since the rally and while DH was doing a little maintenance inside the Rv he discovered 16 more of those Indiana stink bugs still alive. That makes about 50 total. I wonder how many more there are. Sure hope they all die before they reproduce.

Sounds like they're going to be in Texas now. Those bad boys and girls can really breed.

Well, believe it or not 3 months after the rally we are now in Gulf Shores and so are some of the Indiana stink bugs. Killed two this week. Where are they hiding? They will soon be all over the US.

This whole topic stinks...
OK for those of us less experienced, are you guys talking about those black beetles or another bug? Did you get them from a rally, or did they come in the rig from the mfg??? If they're in the rig, can't you use a bug bomb while you're out for the day??? Sorry, just completely inexperienced with anything like this.

I just found one yesterday. It had to come from mfg. Have been up north yet in the new Monty.

So how do you kill those little buggers these days? I remember as a kid living in Texas, I would step on them and found out why they were called stink bugs. Nasty smell, just as bad as skunk in intensity to me, but a different distinguishable odor. Now all grown up I wouldn't want to step on them then track the smell anywhere - I wasn't as considerate when I was young. So far where I live and go, no stinkbugs. I am not complaining, mind you.

We got ours at the rally. They were everywhere and we got even more in West Virginia. Never had them until we were in Goshen. Google stink bugs and you can see what they look like. I would guess if your Rv was built in late September or October you would have some when it left the plant. The DH captured 16 of them in early November, put them in a prescription bottle and they were still alive at Christmas. They are tough ugly critters.

We are carrying around Stink bugs from an October trip to Pennsylvania and Lady bugs from a November trip to Charlotte, NC. We're in Florida now and they are still making appearances. We kill the Stink bugs and relocate the Lady bugs to outdoors. I sometimes wonder if the same Lady bugs just keep returning to our Montana!
We are Newbies and hope to attend the 2014 Rally...didn't realize Stink bugs would be part of the package!

Found our first one the other day. I am pretty sure we did NOT bring ours from Indiana, as we have been in this unit since Dec 3rd day and night, cool and hot! There were NO bugs until just the other day. Then, I looked up and one of those prehistoric armoured dudes was on my day night shade.
I asked several of our friends that have had lots of these lovelies and they all say, don't squish em. Scoop em up, really good if you can scoop em into a cup of water. Drown them! Flush them with LOTS O WATER. Or, flick em outside, but, for cripes sakes DO NOT SQUISH in the unit!
