Bed Room sink leak

We have a 2014 3582RL and noticed today that we have a small leak under the sink in the bedroom. We have pinpointed the leak happens when the faucet is on and it is leaking at the white hose which seems to be some air vent. The white hose has a black plastic check valve on it. It does not seem to drip but we noticed moisture around the top of hose that connects to the check valve. It does not leak all of the time. I would not think that water would come out of that hose? Any ideas?

The only check valve I know that is placed under a sink is on the black tank flush system. That should only be flowing water when the flush is being used. They have been known to leak. Jim

If the small black plastic device has a pex line coming into it and one going out of it...that is the black tank rinse anti-siphon valve. Mine always spurted when I first turned on the rinse function. If you are saying that turning on the sink faucet is what you believe to be causing the moisture, then it could also be water coming out of the top of the faucet...under the handle, which is due to the ball that controls water entering in the faucet. In this case, water leaks out and flows down the fixture, under the fixture and follows the water lines as it drips. This is what occurred on ours and it was hard to tell that the water was coming from there...unless you looked close. If this is your cause, then shut off water, remove the handle (assume single faucet as ours), tighten the top gland nut that holds the ball control. The metal stem that the handle fits onto should be harder to move by hand. Put handle on, turn water on, leak should be gone. IF it is the black tank rinse anti-siphon valve, I removed mine and used brass fittings to connect the lines back together. Then on the outside of the rv, I have a anti-siphon valve there. John

Jcurtis has pretty much covered it, but there is one more thing it could be. If your black valve ends the pex run then you have a vent that opens in place of having the plumbing vented to the outside. Keystone usually uses these on kitchen sinks, but who knows. Anyway if it's one of those look for cuts, scrapes or a loose connection. The line would only leak if the valve failed to open and water backed up to it.

Hi Jimmer
Had same problem on our 3402. As posted, ours was leaking on the black tank anti-siphon valve. The valve is a very poorly constructed piece of.........
Our leak always happened following a tank spray flush. I cut mine out during our trip. I did this in the basement compartment,[ to hard to do under sink] had my pex crimpers with me so two 1/2" 90 degree connectors from Lowes. I installed a check valve on the hose which I dedicate to the flush connector, to prevent siphon contamination to the park water system.

Thanks for the help on this. That makes sense and there are some good ideas.
