Jacks, slide remote instructions

Hi, I just got all the manuals for my new to me, 2009 Montana 3400 (only used 3 months and I pick it up tomorrow) but there's no information on how to use the remote or if its programable. Is there such a thing somewhere?

Peter, congratulations on you 3400RL.

To use your remote, you have to open the door to the control circuitry. Mine is on the left front corner just in front of my BR slide. Once inside the panel it is self explanatory. You have a rotary switch to select the function and a oval switch to turn the remote. You need to press and hold this switch for about 2 seconds until a red led lights. Now your remote is activated.

The remote is also timed. After a few minutes it will turn itself off and you need to reactivate it by pressing the oval switch again.

I haven't had a chance to fully play with mine yet but I have seen some comments on that if you turn on your scare light with the remote the only way to turn them off is also by the remote. It apparently overrides the manual switch.
