I have heard that moth-balls are poisonous to animals, like dogs and cats. don't they also give off a toxic fume? Probably old wives tales, but I'm going to be carful in their use. They are also known to be carcinogenic. Proper use is to have them in a closed container - the fumes can be toxic just from wearing clothes that have been permeated by the fumes.

we use the dryer sheets as well as the ultra sonic mouse things also and we have no trouble with the little critters. works in the stick house too!
