New RV resort Canyonville Oregon

New 191-space RV resort opening August 1st in Canyonville Oregon (off I-5 south of Roseburg) as part of the 7 Feathers casino. It is located across the highway in the hills behind the truck stop. It has 104 pull-through spaces and 87 back-in sites, free wi-fi and cable, message and mail service, fitness center, heated pool and spa, and laundry facilities.

One of their goals is to attract RV groups/clubs.

I will update this after we stay there sometime next month.

Hey Nancy, do I hear maybe 2008 or 2009 West Coast Rally? Keep us posted on pricing and also if there is group pricing. Sounds really great and right next to a casino! I'll have to put blinders on Ed. LOL

I have told a couple of the moderators that it was going to open soon. It is a great location and I suspect pricing will be reasonable.

We have been watching the progress on it over the past year. We often stop over at 7 Feathers to rest (?) on our Oregon coast trips. Thanks for the heads up.

We have been trying to make a reservation, but the opening date keeps getting pushed back. It is supposedly September now. The rates are much higher than we expected, but we note 10% discount for most clubs plus 10% more for Player's Club, which is free to anyone. It also says 30% discount for groups. It will give us a place to go in the winter months when we feel the need to escape.

Speaking of new campgrounds, they are supposed to be building a new 5000 (yes, that is five thousand) space CG in Boardman, OR. It is supposed to be part of a new race track going in.
