2011 Memorial Day Lake Sis Weekend Question

2011 Memorial Day Weekend

A nothing organized, relaxing affair.

(Except maybe a potluck?)

Has anyone complied a list of who is going to be at Lake Siskiyou this Memorial Day weekend?

Kind of wondering if we are going to have a potluck or not so I can plan my grocery shopping appropriately.

How about a campfire or two? The few of us that will be there should bring wood if possible. We will be in site 348 and I think there's a nice area behind it for a gathering should anyone be so inclined to gather together in the early evening for a fire and fish stories.

Margee,

Glad to hear you and Doug are joining us. I have only gotten responses fron a few when I asked this same question in an earlier post. I imagine something involving a potluck will come up when we get there. Campfires will be definite and I have some wood available, although I do have to haul it all the way from home. If you're in site 248 you'll be a long way from the rest of us, so you might think about parking your rig in 348!

Don

No, you all will be a long ways from us! *LOL... details, details. I corrected my post to show site 348.

I was hoping to not have to do any grocery shopping up at Shasta. We have such little time there that I don't want to spend any of it in a grocery store.

So it sounds like we'll do a dinner potluck? I'll figure out a side dish to make and shop for it down here.

Now that you have decide to move to 348 I can say, "Howdy Neighbor". We are in 347 and will be there on Wednesday.

Howdy Rich & Kathy! *LOL, yep, in 348. We have it reserved starting Thursday, 5/26 but will more than likely arrive around 11am on Friday, 5/27.

I notice you are in Petaluma. Do you go to Doran Beach ever? We are there enough to put in a change of address card if we could get mail delivered there.

See ya soon.

We have driven out there a lot, but have never camped out there. Only 30 minutes away and I feel it is just to close to home to go camping. I am sure we will get out there someday though.

Yea, we were able to switch our site, so we will be at #346. And, yes I'm game for a potluck. When would we have it?
