We drove 70 all the way across Colorado last Oct. We took our time and enjoyed the veiws. You do have Mountains, Eisenhower Tunnel is 11,013 Ft. elevation. We had no problems with our 2002 Chevy on the grades, you should be OK. We stayed at Grand Juntion at Juntion West RV Park and visited the Colorado Monument.
