Bought new 2014 with all the upgrades.Within first year a 3/4 full gray tank blew up.Within the second year had lots more problems including the roof all but was coming off.Poor workmanship from the factory.Wind up having to replace the roof in less than 2 years.Costs us right at 6000.00 dollars.By now we really got a bad taste in our mouths for this manufacturer as we could get no help of any kind from them.on the roof.WE even offered to pull it back to the plant and half the costs. It will be paid for by next month so it is almost over.We like camping but at our age we are just not going to keep putting up with this crapt. We are considering getting out completely as its even difficult here to find good folks to work on them. For sure getting rid of this pretty unit as we don't trust anything about it.If we decide to do any more camping,we might purchase a small used unit and consider it a throw away if we have too much trouble out of it.I have read lots and lots of forums and no one seems to build anything but sheer junk anymore. No pride in our work at all.Just needed to get this off my chest I guess.

You are certainly not the only folks who feel that way.

isn't the roof covered by a multi-year warranty?

that's on the material, not the installation.

You have a point for sure about all manufacturers. Jayco is supposed to be recalling 13,000 2017 rigs of several models because the LED lights get too hot and can be a fire hazard.

So basically all of us that wish to Rv are in the same boat no matter the manufacturer. I say forge on the best you can!
