Wiring was chewed...I got a mess...: ( anyone in my area

I got a mess - : ( Is there anyone in Canandaigua NY area to look at some wiring that has been chewed, (and eventually offer me some Montana 101 of how my Montana works so I can begin to possibly fix stuff or at least know what is what, I have been reading the manual and some stuff makes sense but OYE!?
I just got it opened and everything seems to be fine but I have a bunch of wires hanging and chewed up under my kitchen area (on the outside). the only thing that seems to not be working is the hot water tank?
WHAT WORKS; pull outs, water, Refrigerator, electric
WHAT I DON'T DARE TRY...*,propane stuff, oven stove.
*Also hot water tank doesn't seem to be heating up but that could just be that the pilot is not lit.

HISTORY; I bought the Montana in fall of 2015, it has been sitting in a res. campground for years. I moved into it spring 2016 (after selling my home, divorce and empty nest left me thinking this was a great option for a freelance artist, :I must be nuts)! I have been putting money into it, for various things, the person who has done work for me... doesn't really seem to want to show me stuff nor answer my questions and seems to rig things up instead of making them right. It makes me uncomfortable.

ABOUT THE CAMPER;I believe it is a 2007, it has 3 slide outs and the living room is in the front where it would be towed. Eventually I'd like to get it up to par for towing but right now I'd like to get it in working order for use.

If you can't get the help you need here, there is a facebook group you could join that could help. Mobile RV repairs in the US and Canada has references on mobile repair companies all over.

I don't remember Montana having a front living plan until about 2010. There should be a sticker somewhere with a model number on it.

I agree with DQDick. I think a mobile repair may be your best option. Wiring problems can be a nightmare. And the Montana facebook page could be a big help also.

OK, that was before my time. I was pretty sure they did not make one around the 2006-2009 time frame when we bought our 2007 model.

I think there are some Montana owners who use the forum and not Facebook, some who use Facebook and not the forum, and some who use both.

The guy who owns the Canandaigua KOA is a wealth of information in that area. I don't recall his name, maybe Victor. We used his park last year for the NE Rally. He is a pretty straight shooter and may be able to steer you to a reputable RV repair person even if you are not staying in his park. Just mentioned the Montana Owners Forum suggested him.
