Duct Tape???

I noticed on top of one of my slideouts there is a strip of what looks like Duct Tape just under the slide seal and it lays flat on top of the slide roof itself. I need to fix it as it is pealing up. Does anyone know what that product is? I want to fix it before it starts to leak.
Thanks

If you had a 2880RL, I'd say you have my old unit.

Sorry, I could not resist.

It's not duct tape. It's a special sealing tape. Somewhere, I remember seeing a post on how to do a repair. If I can find it, I'll get back to you.

I went out to look at it last night before I would venture an answer, I would call a dealer to find out exactly what it is.

dealer said they may be able to repair it if its not to bad. If they cant, it will take 1 hour to replace it. I made the appointment.
Thanks everyone.
