towed my 3465sa for a little over a hundred miles and got 10.5 MPG. using a 2500 gmc dmax/allison with only 5300 moles on it. i'm happy!

Kevin, You'll find that after 20,000 to 30,000 miles your MPG will increase some. I've got 17,000 and get 11.5 to 12.0 MPG.
You've got a towing monster and you can tell because you don't hear the engine straining during a pull.

i need to clear something up. i don't have 5300 "moles" on my truck. that's a lot of moles, man with that many moles my mpg would be way down.

ps. no moles were injured or killed in this post.

thank you

You need to get rid of some of the moles and your mileage should increase. It would lighten the load.

It's a nice ride, I average 12mpg with mine, have to look back to make sure the Montana is still there!, Have close to 100k on it and still pulling strong.

I got 12.5 towing my 3400 this past weekend with the 3500 D/A Silverado. We're at about 18k right now. Very pleased. Don't know if there will be a difference with the new 365 Big Sky when we get it or not. By the way, Swanny, if you got rid of some of those moles, you might get a lot better fuel economy.

Maybe I had “moles” since our previous T/V [Dodge V-10 gasser] only got about 9-10 MPG when I wasn’t towing.
