Type of Shock absorbers?

Fellow MOC members with older Montanas... I am thinking about replacing the original shock absorbers on my 2003 Montana with #6000 Al-Ko axles. Has anyone ever done this and how would I find out the brand and part number for this? Thanks!

In those years (and most yet today) the shocks were mounted at so great an angle ... they really didn't do much. They just kinda moved up and down with the springs and didn't compress but an inch or two. I can't answer your question about part numbers ... it's your call overall.

Replaced on our 2002. Didn't make much difference, but certainly cannot hurt. I took one off, took to my local auto parts store and they found me a replacement shock.

The only kit I've seen that looked like it was engineered properly is the kit from Joy Rider, RV Improvement Systems. Trailer Life magazine did a feature on it last year. I'm considering installing this shock absorber kit on our '14 3625RL. Our stuff gets rattled around pretty good on the road, plus I'd like to curb the chucking. Trailer Life seemed to think this kit worked.
