Inverter issue with refrigerator

The GFI on my inverter keeps popping off. Fridge runs correctly on 120 volts. Any fixes for inverter. Can I just replace the plug in?

What year is your rig? How long has this been happening? Is the GFI on the inverter or is it near the frig? GFI's can go bad but it's rare. I've seen then miss-wired from the factory. You could also have a loose connection at the GFI. I'd start by checking the wiring. A loose ground or neutral can cause it to trip. I have one of these testers.

Hi I had the same p on my 2021 Montana 3791 RD and it was identical to your issue. I contacted Keystone and come to find out Keystone put this type of inverter in some models and they had inverters tripped GFI on the inverter. And they told me that the fridge shouldn’t be plugged in to a GFI. So they had a mobile tech come out and install a new inverter that the fridge is wired directly to the inverter. That solved the problem. And it was $ O charge to me as Keystone factory installed an inverter they were testing out on several models. I ask why if they new about this they didn’t do a recall and was told that they replaced them as an owner problem basis. And also they have no record of which units these were installed on. So go after them. Please contact me if you anymore details. Thanks Jim

I changed out the GFI plug in the inverter to a regular receptacle and problem solved.
