Dennis Hill MOC #15 Has Passed

I learned today that Dennis Hill, one of the original MOC members and a long time Admin for the previous incarnation of the forum passed away on Monday 3/20/2023.

He was a great friend and introduced us to the MOC and all its benefits. He will be missed by many of us old time members.

Here is a quote from his Facebook page about his passing.

Hello, friends. This is Dennis' family sharing some sad news. Dennis passed away Monday night 3/20. He was 80. In the past few days it has become apparent that he has affected many of you with his bubbly personality and was always cheering people up. He was fond of many things in his life: Ham radio, calling bingo, RV-ing, cooking, spending time with his friends and family (including his children, grandchildren, and of course his dogs.) But most importantly he loved posting political satire (that I know you will all miss greatly) on this platform. (haha)
We are planning a "Celebration of Life" to be held at Rosewood Retirement Home. Date and Time TBD.

What a great loss to the MOC, Dennis was such true friend and mentor to all new members, and he will truly be missed by all that had the pleasure to know him.

I did not know him at all, but still sadden that he "passed." Hopefully, his life was full and he was truly a joy to others.

What's that old expression, something like .... ? It's not the possessions one gains in life that really matters, it's the impact of your life on others that you leave behind that really counts.

God speed #15! You are already missed!
