By slip-over, they mean "outboard" in mechanical terms. You would need to determine if your hubs will come off your drums. But everything else is the same. You still need to remove the hub and bearings to install the caliper brackets. The savings is in that you aren't buying hubs. Honestly I can't remember if mine were removable or not?
I imagine that paying someone to press off the
Drums buy the new longer wheel studs have them pressed in, if you count your time the savings would likely be minimal?
