Bald Ridge Campground
On Lake Sidney Lanier, in Cumming, GA. Site 67, right next to another Montana, a 3500. These sites are huge and I mean HUGE. A Corp of Engineer park that closes for the season two days after we leave. They have been going through a drought here as the lake is down about 100 feet, otherwise would be the PERFECT spot. 50 amp plus water $25.00 per night. Did I mention a pull through site about 80 feet long, picnic table, fire ring and a nice gravel patio. About 35 miles from Atlanta.....

Phil,
We will be staying there this coming weekend. We are coming in on Thursday. This is one of our favorite parks. Every year it seems to be closing a little earlier. Maybe we'll get to see you before you go.

Phil,
Agree that COE CGs are very nice w/good sites and facilities. Stayed at several in southern VA and northern PA. Well laid out w/large sites, like you describe. Glad your adventure continues to go well! Best regards,

Thanks Chris, If only the COE's had sewers!!! We might have to invest in a Blue Tote if this keeps up. Has anyone mounted one under their Monty for transporting??????

Phil and Kathy,
There are a couple of sites with sewer at Bald Ridge Creek. When you turn there by the dumpsters to go to your site, there are two sites that have sewer. Those sites don't look the best as all the pine trees had to be cut down due to pine beetle infestation. But may be a consideration for your next stay.

Phil & Cathy,
Sorry we missed you. I came by one time and you were gone. Then I observed you leaving from across the lake and thought you were gone from the campground. I didn't notice that you had just moved to another site. The weather was kind of dreary so we stayed in most of the time. Maybe we'll cross each others paths again soon. Take care!!
