Escape window replacement 2002 2955RL

Just came through a storm and rough highways to get home and found the bedroom escape window had fallen out. Anyone know the best place to find a replacement? Frame still there, will I need to take it out to measure opening before going forward? No brand name on frame or model # but window opening is somewhere around 21X35". Any help or direction is appreciated.

Check with a local glass shop.

There should be a label on the inside of the frame which you can't see until you remove it. I used to know the manufacturer's name for the early 200n windows but it eludes me now. Not that it matters as Kinro bought them and Lippert now owns Kinro. I suspect you can call them with the label info and they can set you up.

A glass shop isn't likely to have to have the metal frame and hanging system for the portion that went bye-bye.

If you still have the frame that went around the piece of glass, most glass shops should be able to get. They measured and ordered mine. About a week later they came in and replaced. You'd never know I had broken windows.

If you don't have the frame, Carl's got the right idea. Could also call Trekwood.

Daryl has the idea. We had one of out windows broke somewhere along our return from the National Rally. We took the unit to one of the local glass shops and they measured the window frame and the tint on the windows and ordered a replacement for us. It was MUCH cheaper than having to order the whole window that the dealer and Keystone normally have to order for replacement. On an added note-- if you have an RV Salvage company near you, you might be able to find one there also. Google "RV Salvage" and you can find one near you.

Trekwood does not list anything that old. You might just have to get a fixed window or one that isn't an escape type window to fill the hole.

You have to call. Their online listings only go back so fat. Their internal system goes farther back.

Just to make sure the window I was talking about was located in the bedroom.

You should be able to call any Montana dealer and tell them the year make and model and possibly give them the Vin number and they will be able to order it for you.

This happened to me a couple years ago on the way home. I bought a replacement window from an RV store that sold Montana. You will have to replace the whole window frame and all.
