Hi everyone. I am uncertain whether this is the proper category for this issue that we have with our norcold side by side double door refrigerator, or not. But... our unit drips moisture at the bottom center between the two doors when we open it. Even when it remains closed for a length of time (overnight) it will drip onto the top of the wood drawer directly beneath it. How do we solve this problem?

Sounds like your drain is plugged or your catch pan is full.

We checked both of those things. Neither is the culprit. We are thinking that it might be condensation being built up because of an improperly sealed door. What do you think?

Many have reported seal issues. Test your seals with a dollar bill. With the bill closed in the door between the face of the fridge and the seal, you should feel some resistance as you try and pull the bill out. Jim

Thank you for the 'heads up'. I just went to the fridge to try it. Since I have never tried this with either a tight seal or a faulty one, I cannot know how much resistance there is supposed to be. I inserted the bill in three places, from the top to the bottom of the door, and felt only slight resistance in each case. This unit is still under warranty. I wonder if I should let a dealer take a look at it. I hate to unhook and drive the one hour trip (we fulltime and are in a seasonal site) to Webb,s RV in Bangor, Maine. Think this would be worth it? Thanks for your response.

It is critical to have adequate airflow in an rv refrigerator. Make sure you don't have it packed too full.

We had bad sealing. Added rubber insulation seals from Home Depot, helped a lot. Our 2010.
