Slides Sliding Out Down the Pike

We have a 2004 3670. Have had a large amount of problems. I am always complaining. Axles & tires replaced and more. Anyway I would like to know if anyone has been having slideout problems like ours. First the bedroom slideout would come out a couple of inches when parked or on the road. The pump was replaced. Then the livingroom slideout came out during travel. Replaced the hydraulic cylindar. Now the main slideout is comming out during travel. Our dealership is about to replace the hydraulic cylindar on it. Sure hope it they get it eventually. I am so sick of looking out the rear mirror to see if the slideouts are taking out mailboxes or not. Although we have had so many problems we love the floor plan. The slideout company, Lippert Corrporation, Inc., says that Montana is the only company they sell to that has slideout problems and they think it is the way they plumb their hydraulics. We keep 2 X 4 in the basement to secure them all. Anyone else have this problem would love to hear of the cause.

Sorry to hear about your problems. Among all of our problems we have had that wasn't one of them - just bolts shearing off because of a timing problem. Sure hope they get it fixed for you so you can stop worrying. Keep us posted on the problem and fix.

Safe travels.

Whoa, that problem could be really nasty if the timing is wrong! I had been told the plumbing was such that an inadvertent slide extension cannot happen. I think you just proved that info is incorrect. Please post any further information as this (hopefully) gets resolved for you.

We have a 2005 3670 and after 3000 miles havn't noticed any movement in the slides when traveling. Sounds like a check valve or somthing isn't seating.
