Nice job. I put a 32 inch in ours too but I didn't do a whole lot cause I had plenty of room in the hole. We also have the slide out tray so I just screwed some C clamps to the tray and the base of the TV just slides into them. I can still angle the TV on the tray for good viewing angles. When we travel I just slide it back into the hole where I have 2 long velcro straps screwed to the back wall to hold it there. The bedroom I got a 26 inch. It is mounted to the swing out picture frame door with yep velcro to hold it tight against the frame and screwed down to the shelf base. So far so good.
