Tire mods today!
Finally got the Monty over to my local America's Tire today. Got the following done:
~Balanced and rotated (just front to rear axle swap)
~Replaced cheesy rubber valve stems with nice steel ones.
~Added a set of Gorilla wheels locks as a "deterrent" Ya, I know they are not going to prevent a determined thief.
As a bonus, the manager told me they would sell me their road hazard/warranty they offer on tires they sell (bought mine from Tirerack before picking up my Monty) for a discounted price. I have paid for this on other tires over the years...like any insurance or extended warranty, sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn't! We'll see...the BFGs are pretty darn reliable but you never know!
Still looking at different TPMS for the Monty, already have it on truck.
