HELP! Re: Sofa Bed and 12V plugs

We just received our 2980RL yesterday and have some questions for anyone out there that can help us. First of all, the hide a bed bar(Foot Part) hits the island(sink) and cannot be fully extended. Any ideas? Also, where or how can you feed off you batteries to play only the stereo and plug in a cell phone--I,m sure I won't always have electricty or want the generator to run not stop in the mountains off the beaten path. Thirdly, any ideas where to mount a paper towel holder(horizontal kind)?
