Slid out valves
Hi all, we finally got our 2980 back from the doctor and he fixed her. but I have a question, How long is it going to take the turn nobs on the manifold to turn a little easier? I am about to turn down some round stock and make a larger knob that slides over the original and have a roll pin perminatly in it, then it will slide over the original knob that has a hole to receive the pin I can then have a larger knob on that piece to make turning easier i hope. ant body have a better idea I am open for som other ideas.
Thanks Reilly

Well I made the valve knob and it works great, I can now turn the valves with ease especally to my fingers, I am in the building trades and my fingers are pritty tough, but that knurel on the valves were killing my fingers but it wont happen any more, if anybody is interested in the measurements I'll be happy to send them to you, happy turner, Don
Jo Bill is also right I stumbled on to that just the other day if you releave the pressure a nug it seems to make turning the knobs a bit easier, But I still like the new knob dont have to Nug nuthing just turn
