Traveler Lite Model 210 Toilet by Sealand

We have just purchased a 2005 Model 3400RL 5th Wheel and in the bath is a Sealand Traveler Lite Model 210 Toilet.

What we would like to know is has anyone having problems keeping water in the bowl after the flush? We have had our service department to look at it and they tell us there is a kit you need to use, because of possible debris collecting around the bowl. We can go about 1 day and have to clean it out again and again. Cannot find any information on the internet about this particular model. We had a Thetford for 3 years in our old 5th wheel 3255rl and not once did we have to do maintenance on it like this one.

That doesn't sound right.....We have the 3400RL with that toilet and we never have that problem. Of course the ladies use the trash can for most of the paper.....I do use the cleaning wand with the little circle cleaning pad. That keeps the toilet clear of debris. But I only do that about once a week. I would ask for a new toilet....Kathi

Montanagal,
Wow, your posting jumped right out at me this a.m. We just took delivery of our "06 3400 on June 30th. We have the same model 210 that you have. We did our first trial run this past week and have the same problem with it not being able to hold the water. We were about 50 miles from our dealer so made a call on our way home. They said to come in and they would do an inspection. We hightailed it there immediately. The service man spent very little time "inspecting" it and said we are going to order you a new one. So that is where we are. It will take a week to 10 days supposedly. We have our 2 month maiden voyage coming up the end of the month, so sure hope it's here (and works).
