Main AC Froze Up What to Do?

Again, extremely humid, I think the main AC froze up probably because I didn't run the fan fast enough during the night. Right now when I press the inside temp button on the thermostat it say 32 degrees F. When you run it is no putting out cold air. Is there anything I can do besides shut it down for a while. The front AC is working fine for now. It seems I am dangerous with two AC units! :-(

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Turn Cool setting off run High Fan for about 20 Min's that should thaw it out then go back to cool mode.I understand the newer units have a sensor that if the unit does freeze it will turn of the compressor not sure of that!

If it's froze over you will have to let it thaw

To see if it is froze you will have to get up on the roof and take your cover off. If it is froze it may take an hour or so to completely thaw out. After it thaws out check your fins to make sure they are clean. If they are dirty that can make it freeze up easier.

One thing you need to check is that if the unit is getting enough return air. Have the filters been cleaned? And if it's one of the whisper quite ones, is the return air duct open or partially or fully collapsed.

Correct, both comments. Actually it's the compressor that should be turned off...then run the fan. Don't know how the new sensors work.

Thanks to all who helped me. Here is what the late morning was like. The Dometic Quiet Cool that was part of the Legacy Package on the 2015, registered 32 degrees all morning even after running only the fan for 2 hours to attempt a defrost. If it really thought it was 32 degrees I doubt the compressor would ever start. I thought what the hell, so I powered the Montana off at the power pedestal for 2 minutes I felt that it would stop the 12 volt side and the 120 side. When it came back on and I started up the AC in zone 1 it showed a room temp of 74, then I fired it up and its been working perfectly all day. I learned a lot today. Thanks!
