Heading To Alaska

Hey gang....we're on the road to Alaska and looking for some rv park recommendations! There are 4 of us....in-laws are on board....and we're going to be at the Rafter J in the Rapid City area the week of 14 June and then we're heading to Jackson, WY....any ideas where the best place to stay is there??? From there we head to Grizzly RV park in West Yellowstone and then on up to the Spruce Park on the River in Kalispell from 3-8 Jul. We plan on taking in the stampede in Calgary from 8-13 Jul and then heading to Banff....from Banff on up to Anchorage we don't have any reservations yet....we do have to stop in Whitehorse for about 5 days so I can head back our son's assignment night in OK and then again on the 15th in Anchorage to head back to our son's graduation from flight training. We have stayed at [http://www.hicountryrvyukon.com/ several times in Whitehorse and really liked it. The last time was in 2006 but I still hear its a nice park.

We didn't reserve any RV parks, but worked around the various RV Caravan companies and just phoned ahead on the day of arrival.

We stayed there in Whitehorse for 2 nights last summer on our way up here to AK. Nice park. It was nearly full and we didn't have reservations, but was able to get a spot. We stayed an extra night just for the heck of it. Brewery tour in town, with tastings! Maybe that is why we stayed. LOL
