Graphic Removal Bug Off
Just purschased a 2009 Big Sky which had some graphic issues on the front cap. New Graphics in the mail. I had great success with "Goof Off" and a plastic scraper. Sprayed on waited a few minutes and scraped it away with some elbow grease. Then applied alcohol to remove any residue. Washed it. Took about 3 hrs start to finish. Next step .... installation of new graphics!

Saw a couple of Montana's with severe front graphic issues yesterday. One in Robertsdale CW and another at Gulf State Park. It was my and DW first look at the issue and she was disturbed by the sight. Of course I guaranteed her that could never happen to ours cause I keep it polished. Perhaps I'll be needed home health care soon.

The instructions emailed from Keystone said not to wax them. If you email me your address I will forward thier instuctions on caring for the graphics. Something about the oil in the wax makes them start to shrink.
Not sure if we are going to do the install as the dealer is paying for the repair. We took off the old ones because we did not like looking at them.

Our graphics were great on our 5th wheel until we spent this past winter in Great Falls, Montana....the front cap ones are peeling bad. Must have been from the -22 weather we had, and that wasn't the wind chill factor either! Do you contact Keystone for replacements?

Please let us know how it goes putting the replacement graphics on. We too contacted Keystone and sent pics of the peeling on the 08 that we just acquired. They were very gracious and sent 7 boxes of rolled up graphics on their dime. At this point, we're a bit overwhelmed at looking at the huge job ahead of us, but grateful for their generosity.

ddettorre....We have been getting prices of having the graphic installed since the dealer is paying for it (we bought it out of state). Going rate is about $60.00 an hr. We have however learned alot. One graphic installer actually had plastic scrapers that looked just like razor blades and fit into the razor blade holders. They where called scrape rite.... Have not looked for them yet on the net as we have all the graphic removed. He gave us 2 and they work great. Just an FYI for you to search before you start your project as the scraper gets dull. I used it to take off the sticker in the shower and it made it very easy. Hair dryer the graphic to warm it up, and peel off the graphic with the plastic scraper. Then use the goof off on the glue and the plastic scraper. It's a job but well worth it. Our graphics removed on the front cap looks good without the new ones. We are thinking of not even putting them on again but it has the full body paint so it is not just a white cap. Good Luck
Did a search West Marine have the plastic razor blades around $6.00.

Cdaniels, I have a question. After you removed the old graphics can you still see the outline of the old graphics as an aid in correct positioning of the new graphics? Either an outline or perhaps slightly different coloring due to sun, etc.
