Cut it close - but it arrived
Our new mattress arrived at 4:30 Friday afternoon. What suspense, we were leaving for Bar Harbor Saturday morning and I couldn't face another 7 nights on that other mattress.

Love it. It's the same model as in our s&b. (8" Bergad Isoform memory foam) We also had this model in our 2955RL and were very satisfied.

How much does it weigh compared to the OEM mattress?
I am leaning in this direction, as long as the weight penalty isn't too great.

If weight is a concern, the Select Comfort mattresses are an option. We had one in our house, when we moved aboard we purchased the RV model for our 3400RL. One possible drawback would be the requirement for AC power if you need to adjust pressures. Other than that , the light weight(easier to make the bed) and individual mattress comfort control are winners for us.

KTManiac,
Bergad said the 8"" full size king about 100lbs. The rv king isn't full width at 72X80 so perhaps 90lbs. The oem mattress seemed close to that in weight. As a precaution , we limit what we store under the mattress.

Price including shipping - $999.00. They did not charge extra for the 72X80 with 12" radius corners. There is also a removable, washable cover that was made to fit. Yes they can be cut, but then the cover doesn't fit very well. I have no interest other than to express my satisfaction with this product.

Thanks for the info...sounds like a pretty good deal. A lot less than those "blow up beds," and if it is anything like our Tempurpedic at home, it would provide a pretty good night's sleep. Again, thanks.
