Well, here we go again..... Hadley air horns

When I got the '06 Ford, all my mod's took a month or so, it took me around a day to yank them all out.
So now with the '08, I'm installing them...again....
Here's some pictures of the air horn install. I have to cut some plate steel, weld up some brackets for the compressor, but the air tank and horns are mounted, now for some NASCAR!
(The Hadley's are built like an Anvil, I have had them for around 10 years, installed on my many service trucks.) http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n...1/100_1906.jpg

Nice horns Qzz, are they loud as a 18 wheeler horns? every once in a while I hear on the freeway behind the house a blast from a vehicle, and it sounds like the Amtrack Train horn. thats the one I want, or something just as loud. stock horns just dont have it. I have heard Cadilacks with some horns that get your attention too. But I'm still looking.

Don, 130 DB. Any larger horn, like a train horn would take a gigantic air tank. My Hadleys are about as loud as a guy needs.
