New mattress

We finally dumped our factory bed of springs for an eight inch memory foam matress..

Pat and I shopped around and found we liked the Temur-pedic but not the price. So after a lot of research online (Epinions.com) etc., we ordered a Bergad Isoform mattress.

It is very similar to the Tempur-pedic at a fraction of the cost. We are so pleased with this that tomorrow we are ordering one for the stick house.

We have been wanting to dump our mattress too, but got a memory foam pad instead. We still want to get Tempu-pedic mattress, but don't like the high price. Where did you order the Bergad Isoform mattress? Wonder too of the sizes of the Bergad Isoform mattress.

One of the reasons we bought our Montana was the king bed.

That said it is my sister and I that sleep in it so we dumped the factory matress(actually stored it so we will have it for resale or trade in). Went to the local matress factory in our town and had two long pillow top twins made with the cut corners. This way we each have our own bed just on the same frame. Matresses are about 14 inches thick so we had to lose the headboard and the two small shelves on each side of the bed but it is a dream to sleep on. Just like home.

Oh yeah our 93 year old mom travels with us and says the new queen air bed that came with the Monty is great.

Ronnelly,

We too tried a foam pad, but it was still uncomfortable for Pat, as she had a spinal fusion years ago.

Isoform mattress is sold factory direct. They ship common carrier fully expanded, unlike Costco, which is folded and compressed into a smaller box.

Our Montana 2955RL has the short queen and Bergad will make the matress to size, along with the cover. I had considered cutting down a queen when my wife pointed that the cover would then be to big.

The link is www.isoform.com/

We purchased the 8 inch as that was about the height of the facory matress. As for the house, we thought bigger might be better. The 10 inch it was explained is a little softer than the 8 inch.
