Requested screen door vinyl pictures

Fellow MOCers:
As requested here are a couple of pictures of the screen door after the vinyl application. View is from inside through the vinyl and outside showing reflection. I have included a picture of the paper backing that identified the type I use. As a reminder, the vinyl cost is around $1.00 a yard. I didn't mention before, but it can be cleaned with windex and a paper towel.

If you decide to go this route, I would suggest doing the small area in the middle of the door first, it gets a little tricky keeping the vinyl taut and wrinkle free (a helping hand may be needed).

Very nice!
Now all you need is one of those clear slides for the handle access and the view will be unimpeded.

Rons,
Our main purpose is it allows us to leave the outer door open when using either the air conditioning or heat. DW likes to be able to see out the door, and Sweetheart (our Basenji) likes to maintain a constant vigil out the door when she is stuck inside. Others have velcroed Lexan or Plexiglass panels and this is a cheaper alternative. The vinyl seals the door completely so if this method is used, it must be remembered that when closing the outer door the slide on the screen must be opened or the air pressure will blow out the corners of the vinyl. The installation was described on another thread a couple of lines down.

Awhile back we covered our screen with plastic film for a winter but I like the vinyl idea better. One of the nice things is on those beautiful winter days with blue skies and sunshine but the temperature is too cold to have the door open and heat escaping the screen, you can open the door and enjoy the sunshine and even let the sun beating on the covered screen door help to heat up the inside of the rig.
