Circut Breakers ?

What type of curcit breakers do our Monty's use. Can I buy them at the hardware store or do I have to get them from the dealer? I want to run power to the basement on the street side. It looks like the easiest way is to put in another curcit breaker in the panel and run the wire under the stairs to the bedroom and then to the compartment.

Thanks for the info, Greg

You can get them at Lowe's. I think they have Home stamped on them, a thinline breaker.

You can get them at Depot, Lowes, etc. Open your panel up like you would to install the breakers ( 4 screws on the corners ). There will be a sticker in there specifying the breaker type required for your panel. Match that spec up with the new breaker and you're good to go. I recently did the same thing you are proposing. It was a lot easier to add a breaker and run another circuit to the basement.

Not to mention that the replacement breakers are of higher quality than the OEM ones. We have spares bought at our local hardware store for each size breaker.

Lowes or Home Depot have them. They are called "Homeline" breakers.
