I know this has been discussed before somewhere but we are looking to replace our mattress and i read where someone bought a bear bed as it was like the sleep no. but cheaper. Need some info. and input on how it sleeps.

http://www.bearbeds.com/ultrabear.html Pretty much the same as the Sleep number except it does not have the "number system" Advantage..The air pumps are internal to the mattress..no worry about were to stash the pumps.. They are a bit less expensive and they will custom make one if needed. We have one..I have a bad back....it works great..

I know that this not a "Bearbed", but we got a pillowtop memory foam mattress. It adds about 4" to the regular mattress, but it is as comfortable as our king pillow top in the stick house. Cost about $150 at Costco.

We did get the deluxe bear.We were not sure if we needed the Memory foam so did not want to spend the money till we could decide.. You can get the Memory foam at Wall mart or many other places if needed..We would up not needing it.. The Standard queen 60X 80 was a exact replacement for the OEM queen in the 3400 and fit perfectly.

We've used a Bear Bed in the stick house for 3 years. We did get the deluxe with the nice pillow topper. We do not need the memory foam with this bed.
