RL Voumard,

Can't you just switch tanks with one on the trailer, when it is empty ?
Or are you going to mount the tank as a third tank, somewhere in the trailer?

I have a extra 7 1/2 gal LP TANK at home , so I thought I would just fill it and haul it along as a spare, If I could plum in an extra fitting ( neatly ) then I would have additional LP. Just a thought

Boy! You must be planning on using a bunch of propane. Even when we are in the RGV and running the furnace (during the cold spells), the frig and HW we can go a couple of weeks on a tank. Lots of time to refill. Save carrying all the extra weight. For BBQ's I use one of our tanks with the fitting from CW that you can attach a BBQ hose. I will tell you from experience that you cannot put it in the bed of the truck. Someone stole my 30 gal. out of the bed and it was ahead of the hitch with the tonneau cover closed. They went in through the vented tailgate. Glad I hadn't filled it yet.

If you can't play a sport....Be one.

From an rv dealer or CW you can buy the "extend a stay" kit. I have one on mine for connecting to an external tank. I also added a fitting so I can connect it to my gas grill.

I see they call it "stay awhile" now.

See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!
