Leak in Landing Gear

I've had a small leak in the front street side leveling leg since about the beginning (end of 2017). At first I was having issues finding it and was tempted to drop by the dealer to have them fix under warranty. Anyone taking bets on how long that would have taken? Anyway after letting it sit the last half of winter, I think I've isolated the location as the interface of the top plate with the landing gear cylinder (street side). Today while checking the battery water (still full @ 13.3 volts charge), I found another one. The pix have arrows - one is where the (pressure switch??) screws into the distributor. The other is at the top plate of the cylinder. Are these things that tightening might fix (threaded pressure switch & 4 bolts on top landing gear)?

No pix to see, but our left rear jack has had a leak for years, and other than being a little messy, I just occasionally check the fluid level and add if needed. I think ours is leaking from a seal under that top plate also. We never seem to have a problem with it losing enough fluid to sag when set up.

The switch located on front LG passenger side is actually called the selector valve and it controls fluid flow to both front LG.

It can be replaced by you if the oring seals inside of the valve assembly are leaking.

Mine came new with those loose and leaking. After tightening them myself I had no further problems.

LCI said to simply tighten. On the top of the cylinder are 4 bolt heads. I'm assuming the switch is just an o-ring. I'm fuzzy on tightening the switch, but the bolts , okay but what torque? Sorry, I thought I had posted the pix.

We have had a minor leak on the driver's side front leg since day one. I suspect that it might be the same thing for you. I've try to tighten everything possible and it still leaks a little. I wish I knew the fix.

I, too, had a cylinder leak between the top cap and outer cylinder tube. I took the cylinder off and took it to a good hydraulic shop that repairs cylinders for all sorts of applications, including the big ones like dump trucks have. Under the top cap there are two O-rings. one over the piston and a smaller one over the banjo bolt.( one of the three bolts that fastens the top to the bottom of the cylinder that is hollow and delivers hyd. fluid to the bottom to retract the leg). The small o-ring on mine was rather misshapen allowing oil to seep out. They only charged me $25.00 and pressure tested it to 1500 p.s.i... Never leaked again in 5 years.

So it appears after attempting to tighten, the top of the cylinder still leaks. It's really small but after extended sitting in the covered space (8 months), the front leveling legs had dropped the front about 4 inches or so. The change was so subtle that it went unnoticed but just an odd look. I, finally today, took the 4' level out and checked it. Sure enough, it was out a good bit. I put the slides in and hit autolevel. It dropped about an inch before raising and resetting. Pix shows the difference. I'm not overly concerned since I've only added a pint of oil since getting it in Oct. 2017. It seems like a lot of trouble to take out the cylinder for a repair shop to look at it.
