Temperature control with Fantastic Fan
We have a 2015 3825 RL (I think it's called a classic which I think means it is really a 2014 but it and the tires were built in 2015). Whatever it is it's a near 40' gooseneck that has given us little trouble most of which have been repairable on site. BTY, the tires will get changed out in a few months account of their age. Shh, please don't let anybody know I mentioned tires or this thread will degenerate into another endless tire thread.
It has two Fantastic Fans which as all y'all know will move some serious air. My last Montana had a Fantastic Fan and it could be set to come on at a predetermined temperature so it would be less hot inside during the day when the A/C was not on. I have fiddled with these till the cows came home without getting them to function this way. There must be something I am over looking or more likely don't know about that is between me and success with them.
I cannot detect a model number on any visible part of the fans or the controls so I can't post that here but if anybody has a clue what I am doing wrong or if you can tell me why they refuse to participate I'd sure appreciate hearing from you.

Hoss,
I am not aware of a temperature selection for the fan - at least on the newer rigs.

My 2015 3711 Fl has 3 fans in it. The two in the front have the controls mounted on the walls that open or close the vent, and control the fan speed. These have no temperature control on them. The one in the bathroom has a hand held remote and this one does have an lcd screen with the temp control on it. Allows me to pick a temp when I want the fan to come on.Hope this helps.
Doug

We've had a 2010 and a 2017 neither of which had a thermostatic control on the fans.

We have a 2013 3100RL and the Fantastic fan has provisions for setting both the temperature and humidity. Prior to this unit we had a 2011 Montana and it had the same fan, we really liked it and that was one the items we looked for before we bought the 2013.
If I could post a picture of our control, I would......I am afraid I have yet to develop that skill on this site.

Are you sure they are Fantastic fans? My 2015 3611 has another brand (dometic maybe) and all it has is 4 speeds. Not nearly the fan (Fantastic) we had in our 05 3500, it had all the different settings for temp and speeds (12 or so i think) and moved three times as much air.
I've even wondered if I could replace the fan by swapping just the motor and blade assembly with a Fantastic.
Not sure what it is but one would think a fan is a fan but theres clearly a difference

If this question is directed at me, yes, it is without any doubt a Fantastic fan.

That's it, thanks for posting. Someday I may learn how to post pictures also, some of the other items that this site is capable of....

I checked out my fan in my bathroom today. Turns out it is a Maxx Air unit with remote and temperature settings. Not a Fantastic fan like I thought.
