slideout pump leaking
I know most of you know that I sold my montana & truck, but I still like to come here and see friends and keep up with whats going on. Ok, I have a friend (neighbor) that has 2005 3650, and hes ask for my help. I went and look at it and his seems to be leaking where the fluid tank attaches with 4 screws to the motor. It drips in his tray that holds the unit then drips down thru the screws that hold the unit to the tray and drips down onto his battery. I called lippert and they told me a fix for it by taking the tank off, washing the o-ring in soap detergent, and using red/orange permetex. What I would like to know as anyone here done this and if so did it solve the leak problem? How have any of you fix this problem? and how did you repair the leak?
my friend has no computer so I told him I would trey to help
