Even if the battery has an issue, I would think the converter would still be working to keep it charged.
You have said the battery starts to discharge after a few hours. Does the battery have a load on it or is it disconnected?
If you can't get help from Renogy I see 3 other options, none free:
-Hire a professional to troubleshoot and repair
-Buy another battery, if you buy another 200 ah AGM battery you can hook them together or you will have a better argument with renogy if all works with the new battery
-Replace the converter, might even go with a hybrid inverter/charger that has several advantages over separate inverter and converter
