We have a Swagman G2. Similar to photo below but it appears they have discontinued the G2. It’s 10yrs old. We’ve travelled thousands of miles without any issues. Bikes are easy on and off. The bike rack is mounted on the front bumper hitch with both bikes facing curbside so handlebars don’t obstruct driver’s view. Quick release seat post clamps make it easy to remove the bike seats when we travel. The Swagman was far more expensive then I ever expected to pay for a bike rack, but we’ve used it extensively and it has held up very well.

Nice.
That’s actually why I asked. Your bikes will be heavier than road bikes and definitely have bigger tires.
I’m shopping too. My sister in-law runs a bike shop and she says that Hollywood brand racks are all the rage nowadays, but I haven’t started shopping yet. My hesitations are all about how to secure the bikes while they’re hitched and then once we get to camp. We’ve had so many of our kids’ bikes stolen and I’d be sick to lose my e-bike. I’ve got around 1,300 miles on it and I’d hate to lose it.
My other consideration is that this rig is already so bouncy that I’m not sure I want to add more weight to the rear.

We also have the Swagman rated for two, 70lb bikes. I’ve tried it on the front hitch on the truck and hitch on the trailer. (It’s rear hitch rated.). Using the front hitch gets a lot of bug hits. I didn’t use a cover being concerned about airflow to the radiator.

DW has a foldable 20” Rad Power with 3 inch fat tires. I have a regular 26” pedal bike. (The folding Rad Power will actually fit in the basement - which is how we took it to Alaska to avoid the weather and mud).
Re security, the hitch has a locking hitch pin. We also use cable locks around hitch and bikes when traveling. At campsites, we use the same cables locking it through the stairs and also a wheel lock. At night add a blue tarp for weather and it makes noise if moved. Battery out except when riding.
One note: We have a rear cap so the hitch just cleared the cap and could have scraped it so i swapped the hitch tube with a 2 ft long tube. A hitch extension would have done the same.

We have the Hollywood Racks - "RV Rider" on our rig. We purchased this because there were very few rated for the back of an RV stating the design was done for the excess roughness/bouncing being on the back of an RV. this was recommended by our local bike shop. With the cost of the E-bikes I didn't want a rack that may break or bend and lose those bikes so I spent a bit of time researching these. Rated for 2 E-Bike up to 80lbs each.
Likes - the rack has clamps for the seat post or frame that are adjustable and they are lockable as well. Fully adjustable for any size bike, tire size and the ability to set up for clearance to see the rear RV lights
Dislikes - loading each bike has to be a particular way to clear the center upright support to keep the pedals from rubbing. Not a deal breaker, after loading the first time and getting it set, takes very little time to load or unload after that.
We haul 2 Aventon E-Bikes on this and haven't had any problems the last 2 years hauling them all around with us.
I have the Aventon Aventure 2, fat tire, weight is 77lbs.
DW has the Aventon Level 2 commuter, weight is 67lbs.
I did have to add a 6inch hitch extender to the hitch on the RV to mount the rack so the handlebars wouldn't hit the back wall/window of the RV.

The Hollywood rack seems to be the best for heavy bikes on the back of an RV.
You might also consider one (two if you will be using an extension) of these.

If you are going to carry two e-bikes, then go with a Saris MHS 2.
We started with a new Kuat NV 2.0, a well respected rack per my research. It failed within 6 months. The bolts assembling the two tray halves together bent and then broke.
I then bought the Saris. This rack is MUCH more heavy duty than the Kuat, no comparison.
It is spendy. Pay once, cry once. Looking at how it is engineered, I don't see this rack ever failing.

I have one the Hollywood racks and installed a hitch on the front of my truck to carry the ebikes. I carry a Camp Chef stove and griddles in a cargo carrier in the rear of the fifth wheel. I’d swap the set up if I had an RV rated bike rack.

E-Bike or not to E-Bike
We have the Swagman. You have to first make sure you have an RV rated bike rack. Secondly you need to make sure it can handle the weight of your bikes and thirdly does your bike have fenders that will get in the way of the hold down apparatus. we have 13,000 miles on our so far. We carry one Trek E-Bike and one 3" tired Lectric e-bike. Have fun pedaling.

Hey Tony, we also have the Hollywood RV Rider. It’s a beast, very solid when you use an anti rattle bolt. I also had to use a 6” extension, if you read about its design it was made for the extra stress for the back of a fifth wheel. Hope this helps.
Safe travels
Steve

I just finished the assembly of our new Swagman e/spec. The rack components appear to be well made of strong material.
We will be carrying 2 lectric 3.0 ebikes in a couple weeks.
