Slide creep
I am sure this been hashed over and over in this forum… having said that, I have 2014 3625 RE keystone Montana… I had a rv dealership in the Boise look at for 5 months and then could find a sold to the problem… I spoke with Lippert techs and they told me that there a trouble shooting procedure that if an rv tech follows the steps, that the problem can usually be found… I am not qualified to repair it my self so my question to any of you is where in the Idaho area can I find someone who knows how to fix lippert hydraulic side systems…

I can't help with a repair site in Idaho, but have to ask: "what problem are you having with the hydraulic system?"

Have you tried Bretz in Boise? https://www.bretzrv.com/ I live in north central Idaho and I know that there is a dealer in Lewiston that sells and services Montana's. R&R rv is the place.
Sound like you have a slide cylinder leaking past the piston seal. Either place should be able to help.

I had this and found out it was a leaking hydraulic cylinder. Replaced it and it is all good. Good luck. Hope this helps.

This is the first thing you should try. There is a very good chance it will work. If it doesn’t, you lost a few bucks but also helped your hydraulic system.
Order this;

Drain (using a bulb sucker) an equal amount from your hydraulic reservoir. Then add the fork oil and cycle your slides and landing gear several times. See if it helps.

Slide problems
I have two slides creeping out when the slides are tucked in… the living room slide creeps out more that the kitchen slide.. they also creep while driving to destinations .. they creep very slowly but the living room if left alone for a while eventually creeps all the way out to the full extent

Slide creep
Our 2018 has been doing it for years and I have had many techs look at it over the years. None have been able to fix it. It is now doing it worse than ever while parked in storage. It does it in storage and while on the road. I have written about this before. Usually, it only pops out 5 or 6 inches but the other day the whole dining slide was out. No power, no battery in the unit at the time. Just a nonstop issue to put up with, I guess.

Well I have had it looked by two company techs and one rv company had it almost three months last winter and they couldn’t fix it… I was in communication with lippert and they told me that there are steps that techs need to take in troubleshooting the Lippert hydraulics system in order to find where the leak is… you will find that most techs are not trained well enough to work on the Lippert system… lippert people know how to fix it but they don’t send techs out because rv dealers don’t want to pay the cost of having them come out to locate the problems… Lippert will tell the repair techs over the phone how to systematically chase down the problem but they just don’t seem to want to follow the steps to trouble shoot the hydraulics that are.causing the problem…
From what I have been told by Lippert is that doing a bypass test on certain slide cylinders is usually how you diagnose the culprit but requires taking the under belly padding down to test the slide cylinders… it is a pain in the butt to unscrew the under belly padding and it is costly in labor… I think the lack of training by techs and costs prohibited diesgnostics is the reason they don’t fix the problem

I can’t sell it in this condition for what it is a fair price. The next owner when the time comes will ask me if there is anything wrong with it and I should tell them about the problem .. we bought 3 years ago and had it inspected before purchase but the techs that inspected didn’t have it long enough to know there was a slide creep problem so they passed it … I didn’t know until I had the slides in at home for about a month before we went on our first trip.. the slide creep reared it’s ugly head in about one week of having it home. It was too late then.. I do have extended warranty on it but the next place I will go is going to be to a dealer that Lippert recommends as has fixed these kinds of problems before or take it to a lippert factory and have them fix it.. it will cost me travel expense but not near as much money as the loss of sales cash if and when I sell it..

Next year I will take it to a repair facility that will locate the problem because I will ask Lippert if they have reputable rv repair facilities that will fix or take to a Lippert factory.. I will remember this thread and tell you what and who did the repair

I bought my current rig in July, 2014. Added an A/C unit and within a week we headed to the fall rally. 2 slides started creeping out about 2-3 inches every 2 hours of driving. I just would slide them back in on breaks, etc. Scheduled it at what was supposed to be the best dealer in Goshen. They had it for 3-4 hours and finally said their equipment didn't go to 4000 psi or whatever it was, so they couldn't fix it.
They did set up an appt. at Lippert the day the rally ended. I had it there by 7 or 7:30. They didn't even test anything, I think. They said it is usually the 2 biggest cylinders and just spent an hour or 2 driving to a warehouse to bring them back. Installed them and we were on our way by noon.
p.s. I still had some creep on the way home, and took it to dealer. They just ran the slides in and out 10 times and got the air out and no problems for 90,000 miles.

I am glad it worked out for you… I spoke with Lippert and they offer tech on site trouble shooting at any rv dealership at a cost.. I am contacting my insurance to determine if they will include that cost for a factory tech to work with dealership to fix the problem with factory assistance

Hello… I spoke with a Lippert technical advisor about slide creep… they reaffirmed that there is a specific troubleshooting diagnostics test that should be done to resolve the problem.. they do offer on site tech service for advisement at the dealership where you take it for repair… however there is a cost to have a lippert tech there
