Fuse Panel
Well we just took posession of our beautiful new 2006 2955rl and between it and the new Silverado HD D/A I have again fallen in love.
On our very first trip and shakedown cruise, I went to check the furnace fuse as the furnace was acting up. To my surprise, not one fuse was identified. There are over 20 fuses. Montana says they never mark the fuse panel and I sure don't understand why.
Does anybody have a schematic or a listing of the 1 to 25 or so fuses identified to the particilar circuit? Everytime I suspect a fuse, Keystone tells me I must check all the fuses. That's rediculous!

Paul says that the fuses are not marked. The breakers are. He said he doesn't know why either. It is rather stupid. We didn't get anything but the bill when we picked our 3400RL up. We are going in on the 23rd of August we will ask them then. Kathi

If you're talking about the 12 Volt fuses you may want to try an automotive "Intelligent Fuse" They have diode's on them and you can tell if they are blown or not just by looking at them. Odd one is blown!

I thought I saw the fuse lay out in one of the manuals.

This is the fuse panel information from my 2004 2955RL. The circuit "names" were handwritten on a sticker below each fuse.
The panel is an IOTA Engineering (IOTA IDP-12).
Position Fuse Name Connected Devices
1 blank (no LED)
2 blank (no LED)
3 blank (no LED)
4 15 TV TV Amplifier
5 15 Furn Furnace
6 15 LP LP Gas Detector
7 15 Refer Refrigerator
8 15 WP/WH Water Pump, Water Heater, Tanks / Battery Level Display Panel
9 15 F-Fan Fantastic Fan (ceiling)
10 15 Living Rear Wall Ltgs (2)
11 15 Bath Sink / Shower O/H Light, Toilet O/H Light, Toilet Exhaust Fan
12 15 Kit LR O/H Ltgs (3), Area Ltgs (2), Porch Ltg, Flashlight
13 15 Bed Bedroom O/H Ltgs (2) , Bed O/H Ltgs (2), Storage Compartment (2), Front Exterior (1)

If you have an IOTA panel, check to see if there is a small LED light under the fuses. If so, remove the fuse and start turning on lights or other 12vdc loads. You can determine what is on each circuit, as KC4KM suggested.

Well again I'm overwhelmed with all your kind responses and suggestions. I believe the fuse panel is IOTA as there are little red diode appearing "lights" above each fuse. I'll just make it a project to pull, check and mark each fuse. Better now at home than on the road.
Thanks again everyone, you're great!
Phil

If you panel is like mine, you most likely have only one fuse position available for adding an additional circuit. The rest of the positions did not have the wiring harness (3 circuits per harness) on the back side.
I discussed this with Mastertech (Minnesota office), when I ordered an IQ Smart voltage controller for the IOTA convertor. They were nice enough to send me two additional harnesses free. The harnesses need to be connected to fuse locations that contain the LED lights.
If you need to purchase IOTA parts, I recommend them. This is their IOTA website:

I contacted keystone and they told me that they could not produce a schematic for our 2004 2955RL. (i guess none are wired alike). SO, my wife and I got togeather and started with the first fuze, pulled it and figued out what it controlled. and so on. then marked each one. then we went to the 110 volt stuff and marked them correctly. (one of the breakers said MAIN and it didnt have wire running to it). so with a help from my best friend, the fuzes and breakers have labels.
good luck, jim
