Leaving on Monday

With school now officially out for both of us, we will be heading back to the north Georgia mountains for ten days on Monday. Ready to get away for a while and enjoy the great outdoors—and the inside of the Montana at night!

Thanks everyone! We definitely hope to enjoy the trip; we just hope the weather forecast is correct in scattered afternoon showers and not the set–in, five day drizzle we had last week.

Vicki, I believe you figured us out pretty well! Yes, we are indeed going to Unicoi, but after this trip, we intend to stay away from there until October when the leaves begin to change. We do not want to dull the enjoyment by over visiting, though we might try to go to Moccasin Creek SP, located about 35 miles from Unicoi, next month if we can make reservations.

Can you believe I have not downloaded the pictures from when we got together at Unicoi in April; they are still on the camera’s flash card. Now would be a good time to remedy that situation. Look for an e–mail tonight with the picture of John and Bill Elliott attached. I will try to include a pic of Lance Armstrong at Blairsville, but I could not get too close to him.
