Three Montanas

I saw three different Montanas heading out of Las Vegas Friday morning (9 Feb) going to California on I15. I flashed my lights but no responce...I bet they are still wondering why that locomotive was flashing it's lights at them....Mike

I've given up flashing my lights...I think the bulbs will burn out before somebody responds.

Mike, I always honk my air horns at the trains, probably too noisy inside there to hear them, but we get waves from you guys at times.

Got a one fingered salute from a guy I waved at that was towing a Monty, guess I won't do that again.

We pulled out of Vegas this morning on I95, so I guess it wasn't us.

I liked the idea - to acknowledge your fellow travelers. Unfortunately in today's society it seems more people are paranoid when you try to extend a common courtesy. Whatever happened to saying good morning or afternoon when you passed someone on the street. Now a days you get a look as if you are accosting them or they wonder if their zipper is down. Although I don't have our Montana yet, I like the idea and hope that I can be the traveler that if you need help, you can look to on the road.

RailroadMike, Are you headed home or are you going somewhere else? I am from Twin Falls and I come to Mt. Home often, coffee sometime?

Probably some hauler, moving the trailer from the manufacturer, or making a delivery.
