Nice surprise from Bish's RV in Idaho Falls

We received a nice surprise in the mail from our dealer, Bish's in Idaho Falls: a card saying bring in the Monty for free winterizing. We're taking ours over next Tuesday afternoon, and not a moment too soon. At 6:20 AM this morning, the temperature was 24 degrees. By noon it had reached 72, but snow is in the forecast for Wednesday.

Let me make sure I understand this and that it is clarified for any newbies out there. I trust that you did some sort of preliminary winterizing (draining low point drains, antifreeze in sink traps, blowing out air lines, washer/dryer??) and that the trip to Bish's is mainly for antifreeze addition to replace the air in the lines??? I would be extremely worried about 24 degree temperatures if there was still water present in the water lines and sink traps!! Our process is usually two-fold, a preliminary winterizing and then the actual winterizing with about two and a half gallons of the pink stuff.

Bish's is doing the pre-winterizing, too. I did think to ask about it, and while I may have to pay for that part of the process, it's the only answer right now since our compressor is buried in the back of a storeroom again. We have a tiny one we carry in the car, but it's not strong enough to blow out a birthday candle.

Thanks for the reminder, though. It's something I wouldn't have known last year, but after going to a MOC rally, I have a notebook full of tips and reminders about things that a newbie might not know!
