Waiting for our new 2004 3685FL
This will be a first for us. Hubby will be using it in conjuction with work, but we hope to have some RVing fun too. Now we just have to figure out how to pull the boat behind it.

Congrats on your new Montana and welcome to the MOC. Our first RV was a motor home which I used for business, but you better believe we also had some great pleasure trips in it. Now several years later we went with our Montana which we have had just a little over a year. We are looking forward to our retirement this fall and being able to hit the road for more than just a long weekend or a week. May you enjoy many happy miles in your new wheel estate!

Congratulations and welcome to MOC. The 3685 is a beautiful unit. I'm sure you're going to love it. Regarding the boat behind the Montana, you'll need to check out which states you can tandem tow.

Janette, welcome aboard and congratulations on the new Montana! Saw your post in another thread about having lived in Topeka and Wichita and wanted to say we lived in Topeka for 25 years. As a kid, I lived in Wamego (near Manhattan), McPherson, and Wichita (Zimmerly, Sayles, and Stearman Rd). Harry St. School in Wichita, not to mention California and New York. Hope you really enjoy that new Montana when it gets here. Be sure to let us know how it goes. I'm sure you're enjoying those beaches!

Welcome to MOC and congrats on the new Montana. Bringing along the toys is the major down side to pulling a 5er. Taking a second vehicle to pull the boat seems the only safe/sane/legal way. When we hit the road in about 4 years, I would like to take along a Honda Goldwing motorcycle for siteseeing. Just can't seem to find a way other than a second vehicle with cargo trailer behind. Of course we could trade the 3280 for one of those new toy haulers...... NOT!! Enjoy the new rig.

It's funny that once we entered the front living room floorplan, our decision was made. We both loved the "feel" of it. Nice headroom all around too. We're supposed to take delivery later this month (July). We've enjoyed reading all the postings in this website. As novice RVer's I'm sure we have alot to learn. It'll be nice that for the first year hubby will be virtually living in it most of the time so he can discover all the "quirks".
I was actually kidding about pulling the boat. We have a 26' boat and I'm not the least bit interested in navigating a "train" down the highway even in those states that might allow it.
Although hubby has his CDL license, I'm sure I'd drive him crazy

We just returned from our first trip in our 3685FL. It was terrific. Just a couple of things went wrong, but nothing big. The unit is so spacious. Much more than any of the Motor homes we have had. The truck pulled it like a dream. Couldn't tell we had anything behind us. I was worried about storage, but found I still have empty cupboards. Only thing we didn't get was a radio. Have always had somekind of radio.
Love the kitchen sink !!!!!!!!
