Water spots

Has anyone tried the vinegar and water solution to get water spots off the outside windows? We were in Arizona for 5 months and have spots on the windows and 5th wheel that we can not get off. I tried the new windex cleaner yesterday but the spots are still there. Any suggestions that you have tried that work??

...and how about the water spots on the wheels and sides of your 'tana. We had the Duratain treatment and are not supposed to use wax. Those water spots are a constant reminder of irritation. The window spots just sit there and say, "when you gonna clean this window?" Wish I had an answer but as cmawendy I just have questions, but I am listening too. Thanks for the question.

There is a thread in "its a dirty job, but someone's got to do it" pertaining to this very issue. I've tried the vinegar & water with nominal success. Rainx was mentioned also. Jim

I used regular Meguiar auto polish and a lot of elbow grease. They came off completely

Lime away or any bathroom shower spot remover works well.
