No power to monitor panel

We have a 92 advion with no power to the monitor panel, it has been this way since we bought it. Everything runs off the inverter and it has had no issues but we would like to get it up and going. We do not have batteries installed, I have heard mixed answers about this situation. Please let me know what I'm missing here.

I'm only guessing here, but without batteries, the monitor panel won't work. You need 12 volt power. Do you have shore power? If so, does the converter work? It working, it would supply 12 volt power from shore power, and charge batteries if you had any.

Yes I'm using shore power and yes my converter works great but still no power to there. My small DC lights work all throught the as well if that makes any difference. I'm willing to look and try anything at this point so no idea of the table. And thank you RMcneal for the reply, first time coming to one of these forums to get help.

When you say Monitor Panel, are you only referring to the section where the tank gauges are? The section in white? Do the slide, water heater, pump, etc. work?
Depending upon how it's wired, it may not get power without going through the battery. Do you have one you could install to test?

Drew - there are some folks over on the IRV2 forum that own and have restored Avions…one of the senior moderators in particular. You might get a better answer over there. Post your question to the “Vintage RVs” section.

Hey thank you Mike, I appreciate the advice and I'll be posting on their forums pretty quickly for sure because I'm just not getting anywhere at the moment. A lot of good advice but just not the one this rv is looking for.

RMcNeal- Yes and no its the whole panel there on that picture . Also I havent tried the battery only because I was told once if I hook them up it "may" blow my power converter which I have wired to run my DC and Ac lights/accessories. After installing the converter I tapped up the battery leads and left them alone but I'll try it if blowing it isn't a possibility. Going to attach another picture of the set up I have as far as power goes right now, can't get picture of the converter at the moment though.but will soon. Again the advice is greatly appreciated and thank you

I suspect the panel was powered from the batteries Before (on the battery side) the disconnect switch. If you insulate the battery leads to avoid a short your could turn on your switch and see if the panel comes to life.
