Replacement Microwave

Our high pointe convection oven/ microwave went kaput today (2 years old). I replaced an internal fuse but it immediately blew it again. Looking for an exact replacement because it has a vent and lights which I like. Found one from Trekwood but I’m told 3-4 weeks. Any other suggestions on finding an exact replacement?

We bought our replacement at Lowe's (just a little over 2 years old. Got tired of replacing the fuse).
Whirlpool model WMH31017HZ04.
Microwave only, we never used the convection oven. I had to do some trimming on the vent opening and removed the top row of stick on tile to get it to fit exactly. About an hours worth of work.

I went the same route as Daryle, installed a MW without convection. Samsung ME16K3000AS from Lowes. No trimming necessary, had to re-drill mounting holes.

We also did the same thing, went with a Samsung microwave only from Best Buy. They had the combination units but never used the convection mode, and the microwave only model had a higher power rating. Most of these units have the vent able to be moved from top discharge to rear discharge, and when I removed the old unit, found the old discharge didn't perfectly line up with the vent in the wall. Decided if it was close enough for the old one, it would work well enough for the new one.

Our SOB new microwave/convection oven went out at the 4 month point. It seems strange to me that there is a fair number of these units, different brands, made in 2020 that have failed. Covid related?

Anyway, the replacement from my fiver manufacturer was microwave only. We accepted it and I installed even though the mounting bar and top holes had to be redone. It is another off-brand RV type (Greystone) so who knows if it will last.

We looked at doing that and then chose a Sharp from Amazon. Much better mounting bracket and much better convection oven. Sharp is one of the brands used on high end motor homes.
