2018 3950BR Thermostats

Both thermostats are the Dometic capacitive touch. Main room has AC, furnace and furnace heat-pump. Bedroom has AC, furnace. When you turn the furnace on, in the bedroom, the top AC vents begin to below on high. Never gives you any heat. Does this seem normal? Can you not control the furnace from the bedroom?

Simple answer is no. Why it's even on the thermostat is a good question. If you want hot air to come out you need to turn it on on one of these 100 degree days

And the heat pump function is via the ac in the main room. Basically reversal of the ac cooling function.

As stated the thermostat in the bedroom only controls a/c. We always turn it on low fan when using the heat pump or furnace to help circulate air into the bedroom.
