Train your visitors!

My son got married last week. My wife's parents came from New York to the Napa wedding and to Redding to visit. While we thought they were on board with how the Sewer and Gray worked, we learned they did not understand. Frantic call at 4:00 AM. "Sewer backing up in sink, where is the plunger"! Lol. Sue ran over and fixed the problem. Her mom does not understand why we don't keep a plunger in the RV? Lol. Had to share! Lol.

I'm just going to take a stab at this, was your gray tanks almost full and closed when you moved them into your Montana?

Ah, the joys of non-rv people. Now you can wonder what might still be lurking in a black tank...waiting to stop the flow when you need flow. John

It is very hard to convince people to not turn water on full force and let it run

No Joe it was empty, but she just left water running! My wife left valves open after that incident! Lol.

Once in a while you can get them to understand the plumbing, but even then they won't understand the electrical.

Michael-- Hopefully your wife did not leave the black tank valve open or you may have on heck of a mountain in that black tank!

Sorry Michael, leaving the water running for that long didn't even enter my medium size brain! We have never had someone use our Montana without us being there and now probably never will.
